FAQ

  • How do I know what lesson length to choose for my child?
Lesson length is very dependent on the student's age, goals, and ability to focus on task. All lessons provide ample time for vocal warm up and cool down. Time spent between these exercises allows for varying degrees of in-depth attention and course work. Students with previous vocal trianing may desire more time to work on musicality, learn more advanced vocal technique, and/or implement learned skills through repetitive rehearsals of songs. Younger children, or those just starting out, may benefit from a 45 minute class in order to immerse the student in the joy of singing and allow time for fun vocal activities. Those who choose the 30 minute lesson still recieve a full education, but through a more compact lense in which the lesson may move swiftly. While the same techniques are learned, there is less time to reinforce these concepts.
